Turkessa Franklin, ARNP – B.C.

Turkessa joined Tallahassee Neurological Clinic in January 2013. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in 2012 with a concentration in Adult and Gerontology health. She is board certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. Turkessa came to TNC following her employment as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Capital Regional Medical Center from 2008-2012. Prior to her hospital-based careers, she served in the United States Army Reserves from 1995-2008 where she earned the Good Conduct Medal. During her 13 years as an army medic, she obtained accreditation with the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and provided instruction to upcoming EMT students. Turkessa founded the Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Incorporated and remains a current member. Her desire is to give excellent care and serve as a positive role model for her patients and family.
